HAPPY NEW YEAR

Dear Parents,

Since September, the children have progressed and developed in many areas.  Parent support has been a key factor in helping make this term a successful one for the children in Room 204.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank any parent volunteers who have helped us this term on our first field trip and in the classroom. I would also would like to recognize all the families for their continued commitment to their own child's learning. Thank you for taking the time to read together and for helping your child develop the social skills he/she needs to learn at school with classmates and create friendships.  With your support, the children are developing the understanding, empathy and kindness needed to make our classroom a positive and safe place to learn.

We return to school on Monday, January 9, 2012.  I hope that you and your family have a safe and happy holiday.

PS  Thank you for your donations towards WWF. The children are excited that they have helped protect all endangered animals and their habitats.  We can't wait to receive our classroom penguin!
