The progress report cards went home on Tuesday and I would like to note that all the children should be congratulated for their efforts.  The  students have had a good start to the school year.  One of the best ways to support your child's academic achievements is by continuing to read with him or her daily and having meaningful discussions about the books you share. Thank you for your support and encouragement.

Please remember our field trip is this Thursday, November 24th.  It is all day and it is an outdoor trip so please check the weather forecast carefully when helping your child dress for the trip.  Thank you to the parents who have volunteered to come-- I appreciate your support and I am sending some information about your role in helping to supervise the trip in today's mail folder.

The parent phone and e-mail list will be sent home next week. Thank you for your patience in waiting for it. I wanted to make sure all who wanted to be included were not missed.
